Martingale Scanner

Empower forex traders with a comprehensive and customisation tool to analyse currency trends, and identify strong and weak currencies.

Martingale trading is built on one core assumption: that price will eventually reverse. But "eventually" is not a strategy. The question every Martingale trader needs to answer is: how far does price typically move before it reverses on this instrument, on this timeframe — and how often does it go further than that?

Martingale Scanner answers that question with data.

It takes your entire price history, draws a ZigZag across every significant swing, and sorts every single move into three categories: Normal (the everyday moves that happen 80% of the time), Medium (the larger moves that happen 15% of the time), and Crazy (the extreme outlier moves that happen 5% of the time). Every swing is labeled on the chart with its exact pip size and bar count. The summary panel shows you the average, the longest, and the shortest for each tier.

Now you know. You know what a typical reversal looks like on your instrument. You know how far price tends to run before it comes back. You know at what point a move has become extraordinary — and where your stop-loss needs to be to survive it.

âœĻ Three-tier swing classification — Normal, Medium, and Crazy levels mapped from your actual price history

âœĻ Every swing labeled with pips and bars — see exactly how far and how long each move has historically lasted

âœĻ Live Scan Summary panel — total, average, longest, and shortest swings per tier, always visible

âœĻ Merge Percentage protection — prevents premature re-entry before the prior swing has truly completed

âœĻ Per Bar or Per Tick mode — match the calculation method to your execution style

âœĻ Counter-trend or trend-following — use the Martingale against the move or with it, depending on your approach

âœĻ Works on any instrument and timeframe — FX pairs, gold, indices, any asset with swing-based price movement

Stop guessing where your take-profit and stop-loss should be. Let the scanner show you what history says.

"Know your swings. Size your levels. Trade with data."

How It Works

The indicator draws ZigZag lines across your chart and analyzes every swing segment, classifying each one into a frequency tier based on its pip size and bar duration. Three colored ZigZag layers are displayed simultaneously:

  1. 🩷 Pink lines (Normal) — the most frequently occurring swing size (default: 80% of all swings); represents typical, everyday price movements
  2. đŸŸĸ Green lines (Medium) — moderately significant swings (default: 15%); larger moves that occur less frequently
  3. đŸ”ĩ Blue lines (Crazy) — extreme, high-volatility swings (default: 5%); the largest outlier moves on the instrument

Every swing segment is labeled directly on the chart with its pip size and bar duration (e.g. "133.4 pips / 40 bars", "51.0 pips / 10 bars"), giving a precise historical read of how far and how long each swing type travels.

The Scan Summary panel displays a live breakdown of each tier showing:

  1. Occurrence frequency (% and pip range)
  2. Total bars and total pips accumulated
  3. Average, longest, and shortest swing in bars and pips

A Merge Percentage setting (default: 35%) controls how far price must retrace before a new ZigZag leg is drawn, preventing premature reversals from triggering a new Martingale entry before the prior swing has meaningfully completed.
