How It Works

The indicator reads ADX values from a configurable timeframe (default: 1 Hour) using a standard ADX (period 14) and signal period of 9. On each candlestick, it prints a numeric label representing the current ADX value, color-coded by trend state:

·🔵 DeepSkyBlue numbers = Up Trend (+DI > -DI, ADX above threshold)

·🟠 DarkOrange numbers = Down Trend (-DI > +DI, ADX above threshold)

·⚪ White numbers = No Trend (ADX below minimum strength threshold, market is ranging)

The classification logic applies two filter conditions before confirming a trend state:

1. ADX Main Distance (default 20.0) — minimum ADX value required to qualify as a trending market
2. ADX DI Difference (default 5.0) — minimum gap between +DI and -DI required to confirm directional bias
